Hailey Hoggarth is a fifteen year old student-athlete at Twin Falls High School. In January, after suffering a possible concussion during a school basketball game, doctors performed a precautionary MRI which revealed that she had a mass on her brain. After being referred to specialists at Children’s Primary Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Hailey underwent a 10-hour surgery to remove the tumor in June. Shortly after surgery, test results revealed that the tumor was a grade 3 Astrocytoma—a very aggressive and serious form of cancer. Hailey is currently undergoing six weeks of Chemotherapy and Radiation treatment at Primary Children’s and may need continuing Chemotherapy in the futureIt's the little things in life that matter most! We get so caught up in wanting so many things of this world when we really should be so very grateful to our Heavenly Father for having healthy strong bodies. It's really made me stop and think how much I truly have to be grateful for! Our family will be praying for you Hailey as you face this trial in life!
